Adventures in England!

|
I have been blessed to become good friends with a wonderful family in
England, the Edwardses.
I originally became friends with Julian Edwards via e-mail as we shared a common
interest in the space program.
Julian's father, John Edwards, has been a certified "space nut" since
the inception of the space program itself!
John recorded, on seemingly now-unretrievable tape formats, the
entire set of BBC broadcasts of each of the Apollo missions!
Julian was transferred to Chicago for a short while in 1995.
During that stay in Chicago, Julian's parents (John and Marianne
Edwards) and Julian's brother (Mark) came to visit.
Since I had become friends with the entire Edwards family by this
time, they took a "side trip" to Houston to meet "face to face" and
visit the Johnson Space Center.
Julian returned to the UK in early 1996.
My first trip to England was in November of 1996, and was the start of four trips (so far) to visit the Edwardses...
and have had an incredible time on each occasion.
I've attempted to capture those trips in words and (lots of!) pictures.
Each of those journals are presented below, in order of most recent trip first.
Soooooo....
Without further ado (too late! <g>), here are my
