Welcome to my section of our website.
Roger wrote this page for me, but eventually I'll give him more information
(or less!) to add here.
Before we were married, he made a website for me called "The Chick Pad".
It's a running joke with me and my friends about always trying to attain
"Chickness Level 1"...

We live in Round Rock, Texas... a small community just north of Austin.
It's nice to be outside of the city, but still close enough to take advantage of everything it has to offer and still enjoy the Texas Hill Country.
I really enjoy playing around on the 'Net, exchanging email, jokes, and other things with my friends and family.
How did we ever survive before email? <g>
I like being outdoors, jogging, and, of course, shopping!
I enjoy movies, cooking, and spending time with my family.
I was born in
Heidelberg, Germany,
when my parents were there studying at the University of Heidelberg.
They are both Lutheran ministers, so where better to study about Martin Luther
than in his home country!
My parents, my sister, and I made a trip back to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and
the northern portion of Italy in the summer of 2000.
We got to spend a day or so in Heidelberg.
It was really wonderful seeing where I was born... even though we left when I was just
a few years old!
Since Roger has business ventures in Germany now, we may go together
the next time he's there!
I have a wonderful daughter,
Melanie, and a new step-son,
Andrew.
Running everyone around to sports, hobbies, school functions, and
friends' houses makes me seem more of a taxi-driver than anything
else at times, but having a loving family is worth all of the trouble!
After graduating from
The University of Texas at Austin,
I started my career as a certified radiation oncology nurse at the
Austin Cancer Centers.
While my work is hard and can be draining, I love what I do.
